About Manchester Pub
The Manchester Pub, opened in 1991, is a celebration of community, craft beers, great pub food, world soccer and NYC sports. And it does not want to be deemed gastropub to achieve that.
The Manchester Pub’s beer selection is focused on craft brewers. Major craft breweries rotating through its keg lines include Sierra Nevada, Magic Hat, Harpoon, Rogue, Brooklyn and Flying Dog. Great beer should be paired with great food, and the Manchester features some of the best pub food in NYC. Under the direction of Chef Alfred and Chef Matthew Garelick, the food at the Manchester has been featured in publications like the New York Times and food blogs like Midtown Lunch.
The Manchester Pub is a committed soccer pub, opening early on the weekends to show matches from the Barclays Premier League. The Manchester also features matches from the UEFA Champions League, La Liga, Serie A, etc., and shows all US Soccer MNT matches live. World Cup action at the Manchester has been featured in web video by Reuters and in print by the New York Post. The Manchester also celebrates New York City sports, and showing the Yankees, Mets, Giants, Jets, Knicks, Rangers and Red Bulls games live.

Susan attended 6-Course Beer Tasting Dinner featuring Sierra Nevada - 7:30pm seating
Really enjoyed the evening and the food and the different beers. These events have me eating food that I would not ordinarily try. Great experience!
Good, varied crowd of people who like to have fun. Manchester always has drink and food specials, and interesting events, like trivia night and wings eating contests. The food is amazing, and they have great beers on a changing tap.
The Manchester Pub has been hosting beer pairing dinners for a little over a year now and they have each been incredible. These dinners typically feature five courses with unique menu items, paired with a beer from a selected brewery. I've had the pleasure of meeting Brooklyn Brewery brew master, Garrett Oliver, Empire Brewing Company brew master, Tim Butler, at these events to name a few. Typically, they feature head chef, Matt Garelick, and his chef de cuisine, Chris Hamil, from Wall and Water but they have had head chef Connie Sun from Bite Size Kitchen as well.
Not only do they have these unique events featuring incredible food and beers, but their normal bar menu is amazing as well.
The staff and service is always top notch and I have always had an incredible time at the Manchester Pub.
