I try to go to as many beer dinners as possible and this one did not disappoint. Great food by Chef Matt as usual and Magic Hat paired perfectly with his pumpkin dishes. The mole tacos and the lamb tajine dishes were my favorites. Can't wait for the next dinner already. Thanks for all the good times!

Manchester Pub events are a ton of fun. Well paced, good amount of food. You get to drink beer, eat fresh food, and learn something at the same time. My girlfriend, mom, aunt, and I all had a great time!
Really enjoyed the evening and the food and the different beers. These events have me eating food that I would not ordinarily try. Great experience!
Good, varied crowd of people who like to have fun. Manchester always has drink and food specials, and interesting events, like trivia night and wings eating contests. The food is amazing, and they have great beers on a changing tap.
The Manchester Pub has been hosting beer pairing dinners for a little over a year now and they have each been incredible. These dinners typically feature five courses with unique menu items, paired with a beer from a selected brewery. I've had the pleasure of meeting Brooklyn Brewery brew master, Garrett Oliver, Empire Brewing Company brew master, Tim Butler, at these events to name a few. Typically, they feature head chef, Matt Garelick, and his chef de cuisine, Chris Hamil, from Wall and Water but they have had head chef Connie Sun from Bite Size Kitchen as well.
Not only do they have these unique events featuring incredible food and beers, but their normal bar menu is amazing as well.
The staff and service is always top notch and I have always had an incredible time at the Manchester Pub.
Reviews of “Great Gatsby” Beer Dinner ft. Speakeasy - 9:00pm
The Manchester Pub is turning into a Speakeasy for one night only on Wednesday June 27, as we bring you a “Great Gatsby” themed 5-course beer pairing dinner featuring Speakeasy Ales & Lagers.
Speakeasy Ales & Lagers was founded in 1997 as the counterpoint to the larger local breweries in San Francisco. Focusing on smaller productions, Speakeasy has produced several iconic lines including its flagship Prohibition Ale and Big Daddy IPA. Many of Speakeasy’s beers give an nod towards Prohibition-era and local San Francisco aesthetics.
We will pair Speakeasy with a 5-course menu created and executed by Chef Ashton Keefe. Chef Ashton is the founder and owner of Ashton Keefe LLC, Culinary Lifestyle Services which specializes in boutique catering, food styling and cooking classes. She currently teaches at Haven’s Kitchen and is the creator of the Diary of a Sweet Tooth blog. Chef Ashton has appeared on Rachel vs. Guy: Celebrity Cook-off on the Food Network.
The dinner will take place in two grouped seatings on Wednesday June 27: 6:30pm and 9:00pm.
The price is $60 per person with a reservation, and includes sales tax and gratuity. So come by for our Speakeasy Beer Dinner and don your best Flappers. Wednesday June 27.
