I went into this event unsure about what to expect, but ended up learning a ton about coffee! I sampled 3 coffees, each prepared 2 ways (so 6 tastings total), met some coffee pros, ate a bunch of delicious local donuts, and went home with a 12 oz bag of Counter Culture coffee. Great way to start a Friday night.
I have already impressed my girlfriend and roommate with my new coffee skills and look forward to attending future coffee events by little skips.
Description
Join our palettes on a coffee cupping adventure with three exotic destinations.
At each stop, we will brew a single origin coffee using a pour over and a french press, so as to not only compare the regional intricacies of the coffee, but also take a deeper look into the impact of the extraction process on taste.
Experienced baristas will lead the event, introducing the coffees, encouraging interaction and demonstrating the brewing processes used.
The event will be insightful, delicious and a fun opportunity to meet fellow coffee lovers. Attendees will be encouraged to share their tasting notes, preferences and will walk away with a 12oz bag of their favorite coffee!
